Learn American MahJongg

Begin to play American style MahJongg in a relaxed environment. We will discuss the history of the game, the game pieces and how to use them as well as strategies for play. Instruction includes the basic rules of play and using the MahJongg card (card provided) as defined by the National MahJongg League. We will also discuss winning play. This is a hands-on and enjoyable learning experience.

Instructor Background: As an avid game player, Kathleen McFarlane enjoys teaching and playing MahJongg. She has been playing for six years and has truly enjoyed it. Kathleen loves teaching people to play this old but interesting game. There is a lot to learn to begin to play which is part of the fascination. It's an accomplishment for her to watch you learn to enjoy the game as well.
